Fanciful Note

As a TAC demo, I often get asked what my favorite sets in the catty are. This is always on my list. The set is called Fanciful Flowers and I absolutely love it. Every time I use it, I get a different look and it's so easy to stamp out a quick image. I also love using it with chalk ink, which is what I did here. Chalk ink gives it such a soft, almost watercolored feel. I used the Pretty Pastel VersaMagic dewdrops so it was super easy to ink up my images. The pastel Dewdrops include these VersaMagic colors: Aloe Vera, Sea Breeze & Pixie Dust. For the stem, I just used a Chocolate Chip marker. I cut out the Pixie flower and curled the sides up before gluing it down. For the center, I just used a small hole punch and punched out a circle using the red paper. I love the 3-D look!

Stamps: Fanciful Flowers (TAC, T-2283,$15.95), Snail Mail (TAC, retired)
Paper: DCWV Fall & Pastel, Whisper White, Rustic Chic (V-928, $6.95)
Ink: Pretty Pastel VersaMagic Dewdrops (TAC, S-9901, $9.95), Chocolate Chip
Other: small hole punch, A Muse sheer ribbon - French Roast
