Fabulous Birthday Darling

Texas has had some crazy weather this week. First it was in the 80's and I got sunburned, then it poured rain and was gloomy for a few days causing the temp to drop down into the low 30's and today it's crystal clear skies, sunny and in the 70's. Just a perfect Spring day. But let me tell you the drastic changes had caused me to have some serious allergies all week. I've been fighting a cough and scratchy throat since Monday. I've got a lovely husky voice at the moment, LOL. Anyhow on to the card. How adorable is this image? My friend Justine sent me this fabulous image quite awhile ago and I've been hanging onto it just waiting to use it for the right person. Well my aunt has a bday right around the corner and I think she will get a kick out of this gal. I colored her in with SU markers and a Niji waterbrush. Check out her fabulous blue eyeshadow and the rhinestone on her hat. The Saffron cardstock is stamped with Linen and that is the new Sheer ribbon from A Muse. OMGoodness, LOVE how it is sheer with just a touch of color on the edges. Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!!

Hi Kim,
Love the card and the lady with the attitude! Your aunt will love this card! I live in Texas as well, what part do you live in? It snowed, sleeted, and ice twice this week - like you said freezing one day and snow - 80's the next day - and the following day 1-3 inches of snow with sleet. Take Care! Love your site!

And I'm also fighting the scratchy, icky throat and junk!
Here's to us feeling better this week!
