Spooktacular Witch

I saw this sketch on Maria's blog, and I immediately knew which set I wanted to use. This is another image in the new Spooktacular set. Yes, the witch hat is raised with a dimensional. I'm tellin' ya, I can't stop doing that with this set. It's too easy!! The buckle on the hat was colored with a Pumpkin Pie marker and then I went over it with my Sakura pen. I didn't want to stamp a background and take away from my cute image or crazy polka-dot paper. So I just pulled out my Running Stitches set and added some faux stitching around the edges. I thought I would share a recipe with you. I'm making this for dinner and it is one of the first recipes I remember ever getting. I use to impress everyone in college with it, LOL, which wasn't hard since we were all use to eating Ramen and Taco Bell. The flavors are wonderful together and it is really easy to throw together on busy days!

Chicken Diablo

3-4 Chicken Breasts
1/2 c. honey
1/4 c. mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. curry powder

Place thawed chicken in a baking dish. Mix ingredients, pour over chicken. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350˚. Uncover the last 5 minutes.

Stamps: Spooktacular (TAC), Running Stitches (TAC)
Paper: Black Bazzill, Orange (DCWV), Brighten My Day (TAC), Green Galore
Ink: Noir (Palette, TAC)
Other: Sakura Stardust pen, Icicle Stickles, dimenstional, circle Coluzzle, scallop scissors, ribbon from Michael's.

Hello dear Kim!

Your card is fabulous I must say! Great job with the sketch! I agree with your idea of not stamping the background and just adding stitches! Your focal point stands out fabulously!

Love all the polka dots too! Great job!
