Quick Challenge

This is just a quick little card. My Lostie sistah Edie challenged us to use an item to draw color inspiration from. I chose this ribbon that I had in the closet. I got it at the Scrapbook Expo a couple months back for a $1. Thanks Edie for making me use it :)

My card base is Garden Green cs. I took a piece of Barely Banana cs and stamped the Paisley background on it in the same color. My Garden Green strip, is stamped with the Linen background and then the edges are decorated with scallop scissors from Michael's. The ribbon is from a company called AMM Conture Ribbon and it is called Artful. I added a little hodpodge ribbon slide to decorate it up a bit. The sentiment is from a SU set called Small Sayings. I lined the entire background on a piece of deep red cs that I had in my filing cabinet.

I'm so excited to play with my new daintybella. She arrived earlier this week in the mail and I believe she is a gift from my lost secret sister. We do a reveal middle of July so I will find out then. She is colored using SU markers. I also put a little Stardust stickles on her hair flower and bow. I took my mat pack and paper piercer and punched some holes around my main image, then took a Pretty in Pink marker and drew some faux stitches.
