Color Challenge #118

I promise I wasn't listening to Jimi Hendrix or Pink Floyd while I was stamping today..although they are both in my iLibrary!!! Nope I was just doing the color challenge for today. I'm so lovin' this color combo and I would have never put it together on my own. That's why I love doing the challenges.

My card base is a piece of Tempting Turquoise cardstock. I then took some Certainly Celery and stamped it with the Canvas background in the same color. It is lined with a piece of Chocolate Chip cs. I love using that as an accent color! My sentiment is from A Muse and it is stamped in Chocolate Chip. I took my mat pack and paper piercer and poked some holes on the Cameo Coral cs. It just needed a small detail and I love paper piercing!

My main image is by Rhonna Farrer. It's in the Autumn Leaves collection and it's called Double Daisy. Perfect since my fav. flower is a daisy. I got it at Archiver's for $1.99. I used my Chocolate Chip ink to stamp them all over a piece of Whisper White cs. All those hours I spent laying on the floor coloring when I was little finally paid off. I used my SU markers and went to town making my flowers pop with color. Again I layered that on a piece of Chocolate Chip cs.

I stamped out an additional flower and colored it in. Then I used a pop dot and lined it on top of another flower. I like how it overlapped the white cs. For the final touches, I added some sparkle to the popped flower with some turquoise Stickles. I dressed my top corner up with some tiny satin ribbon from Michaels.
