Terrific Trio Winnah

I got a huge surprised last night. I was catching up on some blog reading while watching the Olympics and stumbled upon this post by Barb. She made an adorable card and also stated that she won one of this month's TAC contests. So I followed her link to TAC's homepage and almost fell off the couch when I recognized one of my cards. I won the Terrific Trio contest this month!!!!!!!!! WooHoo. For this contest, you have to make 3 cards using only 2 stamp sets. I thought I would share some closeups of two of my cards so you can see a few details. I'm so happy that my friend Anna sent me this set to play with because I had a blast coming up with ways to use it. For this card, I just stamped my trunk in Palette Burnt Umber. The leaves are stamped on the fabulous Willoughby paper, cut out and the glued on the branches. For a little detail, I added the Polo Button brads. I love all of the texture on that card.

Be Quick To Love
Stamps: Spring Time, Life is Short
Paper: Willoughby, Willoughby Cardstock, Mimi Cardstock
Ink: Palette Burnt Umber
Other: Polo Button Brads, Willoughby Ribbon, Tombow Mono Multi

For this next card, I knew I wanted to pop some stuff up! I again stamped the trunk with Palette Burnt Umber on the Mimi carstock. The shape of the bush is actually a solid stamp, but I wanted my pattern paper to show. So I flipped the paper over, stamped on the backside, then cut it out. I then just stamped the top part of the branches on the patterned side and lined it up with the trunk. My little bird is also raised with a dimensional. I just stamped his little legs with Palette Burnt Umber. The bird is stamped in a Brilliance Pearlescent ink so it has a nice shimmer to it. For my embellishment, I added a Pastel button and adhered it with Lime Scrapper's Floss.

Sing Out Loud
Stamps: Spring Time, Life is Short
Paper: Lily Anna, Mimi Cardstock, Reece Cardstock
Ink: Palette Burnt Umber, Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid -Jewel Tone Dew Drops
Other: Mimi Ribbon, dimensionals, Crystal Lacquer - to hold the button down, Lime Scrapper’s Floss, Pastel Multi Buttons, Tombow Mono Multi

The third card should look familiar. I posted a similar one a few weeks back, but for the contest, I just changed everything to TAC products. To view all three cards click here and to view all contest winners click here.

I am a TAC demo. If you have any question or would like to look at my website where you can view or order our products, just let me know!
